FEATURING VERONICA OSEI-AKOTO
"Throughout these past 5 years, God has really been teaching me to appreciate process. He has really been helping me to understand that the process is just as important as achieving the end goal. I am a dreamer, and there are many goals I have asked God to help me achieve with regards to my dream career, getting married, being a better friend, sister and daughter and most importantly strengthening my relationship with Him.
When I first ask for His help to achieve these goals, I didn't take into account what it would take to get there. It didn't really hit me that there would be lessons I would have to learn, experiences I would need to have and pressures I would need to face before any of my dreams would be realized, until about a year and a half ago. Although the process can be trying and overwhelming at times, the Lord reminds me that, it is all in preparation for the realizing of my dreams. He is preparing me to be in a better position to achieve those goals. All though I would like to have all my goals achieved now, I realize that I still have a lot more growing to do, and because I trust God's timing, I'm learning to enjoy the process."

FEATURING KUBRA ZAKIR
This hijab has a backstory to it. It means a lot to me. This summer is when I started wearing the hijab. I went through this phase of Islamic feminism and starting to really understand what the hijab meant. This hijab was given to me by a very, very special person, one of my best friends, her name is Sadiah Rahman. It was the first hijab that I wore on my head and it was given to me by her.
